A Little Bit About Me
I was an athlete growing up and I spent any spare minute I had shooting hoops in the driveway with my brother. I didn’t really get into creating art until late in high school. I came across art supplies one day that my mom had stored away. I dug them out and starting painting, and that was that. Early on, I spent a lot of time recreating characters for children’s rooms for friends and family. It wasn’t until my early 30’s that I started finding my own style. I’ve always seen things a little differently – I love happy, bright, whimsical. When I run, I am usually passing the time looking at the landscape, thinking of how I might present it in my own way. People have told me that my art is uplifting and happy, and that makes me happy! I moonlight as an artist, and love my painting being just that, my hobby and creative outlet. I want to use my art to uplift people whenever I can, helping them to create a space where they too are happy.
Create and spread happiness. No act of kindness or love is wasted, however small.
